Puddle Scouts is an 18+ organization.
In the summer of 2022, a Telegram group and munch group known as Little Bites Chicago was established by a community member known as “Leafy.” This initiative quickly garnered the attention of another community member, “Lilpupjakey,” who recognized its potential and reached out to explore the possibility of transforming the group into a more formal organization to serve the local queer ABDL (Adult Baby/Diaper Lover) community.
During this collaboration, Leafy and Lilpupjakey discovered others in the local community who shared their vision of creating a structured and inclusive organization. Two additional founding members, known as “Domino” and “Delta,” joined the effort. The name Puddle Scouts was proposed by Delta, encapsulating the group’s playful yet community-focused identity.
Together, the founding members laid the groundwork for Puddle Scouts Chicago, an organization dedicated to supporting the queer ABDL community in the Chicagoland area. The organization prioritized creating safe, welcoming spaces for its members through regularly scheduled events and gatherings. Central to its mission were the core values of Pride, Inclusion, Education, and Service.
Initially, the Chicago-based troop was envisioned as a pilot program, serving as a proof of concept for similar groups to emerge in other major metropolitan areas across the United States. Over time, however, the Puddle Scouts team adopted a collaborative approach, working alongside other community leaders to build frameworks tailored to their respective regions. This effort resulted in the development of unique, region-specific organizations while fostering a broader network of ABDL community leaders. Through this global network, leaders can share resources and collaborate effectively, creating a unified yet decentralized structure of support and growth.
The organizational evolution of Puddle Scouts was marked by the beginning of the begining of its transition from a C-corporation to a not for profit corporation, working to achive 501(c)(7) tax exempt status.
