Puddle Scouts is an 18+ organization.
At Puddle Scouts, we believe in building community through connection, care, and fun. Our Patrol Leaders are the heart of that mission — friendly, approachable members who help guide events and make sure everyone feels safe, welcome, and included.
Whether it’s greeting new faces, keeping an eye out for community needs, or stepping in when staff aren’t available, Patrol Leaders play an important role in making Puddle Scouts events run smoothly.
A Patrol Leader is a trusted community member who:
Acts as the group leader during events in place of staff.
Works alongside other Patrol Leaders and staff to support attendees.
Helps maintain a safe, inclusive, and friendly environment at all events.
Patrol Leaders are people who already love attending our regular events and want to contribute a little more to the Puddle Scouts experience.
We’re seeking volunteers who are:
Sociable & Friendly – someone who enjoys connecting with others.
Reliable & Responsible – ready to step up when needed.
Community-Minded – cares about safety, respect, and inclusivity.
Engaged Members – already familiar with our events and culture.
As a Patrol Leader, you’ll:
Welcome attendees and help set a positive tone.
Be available to answer questions and offer support.
Step into a leadership role if no staff are present.
Ensure community guidelines are followed with care and kindness.
Work with fellow Patrol Leaders and staff to keep events safe and fun.
We couldn’t do this without our Patrol Leaders, so we make sure you’re recognized for your efforts:
Soon to be announced perk!
Opportunities to build leadership skills and strengthen community ties.
The satisfaction of making Puddle Scouts a safe and welcoming space for all.
If this sounds like you, we’d love for you to join the Patrol Leader team!
